Florida Mold Assessor & Remediator Training

✅ Day 1: Virtual Training Course
Florida-Approved Mold Training
The training is conducted virtually with a live licensed instructor, allowing students to participate remotely while engaging in real-time instruction and discussion.
The class will be held from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Students will receive course materials via mail prior to the training date and will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the course.
Topics Covered
- Water intrusion and moisture management
- Mold identification and safety procedures
- Florida standards for mold-related services
- Proper documentation and reporting practices
To successfully complete the course, students must complete the included 50-question quiz.

✅ Day 2: Florida State Licensing Exam
In-Person State Exam for Mold Assessors & Remediators
Students may register and purchase tickets for the Florida State Licensing Exam during the course registration process. The exam is available for both Mold Assessors and Mold Remediators.
Applicants interested in obtaining both licenses may register for an additional exam for an added fee.

Exam Eligibility
Students are permitted to take the licensing exam without attending this specific NETI course, provided they have completed a Florida-approved 14-hour mold course through an accredited provider within the past year.
NETI is recognized by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) as an approved education provider.
Important: You may check DBPR’s website for a list of accredited providers. NETI is listed on the state website. We are #7!
Initial Licensing Information
Completion of a Florida-approved 14-hour course and receipt of a passing exam letter are required as part of the initial mold licensing application process in Florida.
NETI will submit your course completion information directly to DBPR upon successful completion of the training requirements.
